Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar, invites applications from eligible male and female candidates for direct recruitment of Constable (FIREMAN) Vacancies in Bihar Fire Service.
CONSTABLE FIREMAN- 2380 Vacancies IN BIHAR FIRE SERVICES
Reservation will be applicable for various categories as per state government norms. It will benefit only native candidates of Bihar State. Other State/UT applicants will be treated under unreserved category.

Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: 24-February-2021
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 25-March-2021
Bihar Police Fireman Exam Date: 06-June-2021
Pay Scale & Remunerations: The selected candidates selected as Constable (Sipahi) FIREMAN in Bihar Police will be entitled to receive remuneration Pay Matrix Rs. 21700 – 69100/- in Level -3.
Selection Procedure: The candidates applying for the Constable (Sipahi) FIREMAN positions will have to appear for written test, followed by Physical Measurement/ Fitness Test. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of Physical Fitness Test will have to appear for medical examination.
Who Can Apply:
Academics: The candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 12th/ HSC/ 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and
Maximum 25 years for unreserved male candidates, 27 years for BC/ EBC category male candidates, 28 years for unreserved/ BC/ EBC category female candidates, and 30 years for SC/ ST category candidates as on 01-August-2020. There will be five years of relaxation in upper age limit for Bihar Home Guards.
Minimum Physical Fitness: The candidates will have to pass the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test to be eligible for selection.
Physical Standard Test
Height: 165 cm (General/ BC/ EBC Male Candidates), 162 cm (SC/ ST Male candidates), 160 cm (Gurkha), and 155 cm (for all category women candidates)
Weight: In proportion to height
Chest (only for men): 81 cm (General/ BC/ EBC Male Candidates) with minimum 5 cm expansion. 79 cm (SC/ ST Male candidates and Gurkha) with minimum 5 cm expansion.
Physical Efficiency Test
Run: Male candidates will have to complete the race of one mile in not more than 6 minutes. Female candidates will have to finish one kilometer race in 6 minutes.
Long Jump: Minimum 12 Foot for male candidates, and 9 Foot for female candidates.
High Jump: Minimum 4 Foot for male candidates, and 3 Foot for female candidates.
Application Fees: The candidates have to remit the requisite application fees in Online Mode during submission of online application form.
Unreserved, BC and EBC (both Male and Female Candidates): Rs.450/-
SC, ST (both Male and Female Candidates): Rs. 112/-
