Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 05-May-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- plus allowances
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by central or state government; with typing speed of 35 words/ minute in English (10500 key depressions per hour in English) on computer, OR speed of 30 words per minute Hindi (9000 key depressions per hour in Hindi) on computer. Candidates must have fulfill required minimum physical standards.
Examination Fee: Rs.100/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the fee online through SBI Challan, Net Banking, Credit/ Debit Card, and E-payment through E-Challan of post office only. SC/ ST candidates, all female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection Process: Candidates will have to face two phase selection process. In first phase candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination of 225 marks of two papers (Paper 1 covering the topics Hindi/ English Language, General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, and Clerical Aptitude; and Paper 2 will be of Descriptive Paper consisting of Essay writing of 15 marks and letter writing of 10 marks) and in second phase candidates will have to face Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Scrutiny of documents, Skill test, followed by medical examination. No interview will be conducted.
