KSP State Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Notification 2016-17: Karnataka State Police invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 398 Karnataka State Police PSI (Civil – Men/ Women), 90 Karnataka State Police RSI (CAR/DAR – Men), 28 Karnataka State Police PSI (Wireless – Men/ Women), and 28 Karnataka State Police SRSI (KSRP – Men).

ARMED RESERVE SUB-INSPECTOR OF POLICE RSI (CAR/DAR)(MEN): 90 vacancies
SPECIAL RESERVE SUB-INSPECTOR SRSI (KSRP) (MEN): 28 vacancies
Candidates will be selected in three phases namely Endurance Test, Physical Standard Test, Written Examination, followed by viva-voce. Written Examination will be held on same day at all Centre for the Candidates who Qualifies in Endurance Test & Physical Standard Test.

Education Qualification: Applicants must have completed any Degree from University recognised by UGC or Equivalent.
Age Limit As on 13-October-2016:
For PSI (Civil – Men/ Women)- Minimum 21 years and Maximum 28 years for general category candidates. Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years for SC/ ST/ CAT-01/ 2A/ 2B/ 3A/ 3B category category candidates. However further relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
For RSI (CAR/DAR – Men)/ PSI (Wireless – Men/ Women)/ SRSI (KSRP – Men)- Minimum 21 years and Maximum 26 years for general category candidates. Minimum 21 years and Maximum 28 years for SC/ ST/ CAT-01/ 2A/ 2B/ 3A/ 3B category category candidates. However further relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Application Fee: The candidates have to remit the requisite application fees as detailed on the website of Karnataka State Police at www.ksponline.co.in
Rs.250/- for GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B category candidates
Rs. 100/- for SC, ST & CAT-1 category candidates
The payment should be made in State Bank of Mysore (SBM) Only. In case SBM is not available, a candidate can make payment in State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH). The fee should be paid through the system generated fee payment challan as available after the completion of submission of Online Application.
