Coffee Board, under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Subject Matter Specialists, Assistant Specialists, and Research Assistant posts by direct recruitment. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Post Graduate Degree in relevant disciplines [Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Plant Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Environmental Science/ Chemistry/ Agricultural Engineering/ Agricultural Economics/ Food Technology or Food Science and Nutrition/ Science with specialization in Botany or Zoology or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry/ Zoology]. Upper Age Limit As on 15-April-2015:
Subject Matter Specialist- 35 years
Assistant Specialist- 30 years
Research Assistant- 30 years
Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Subject Matter Specialist- Pay Band PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Assistant Specialist- Pay Band PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-
Research Assistant- Pay Band PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
Fee: Rs. 500/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the fee in form of crossed Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of “Coffee Board General Fund Non-Plan Account” payable at Bengaluru.
Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Person with Disability, and Women Candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Candidate are suggested to write his/ her name and address, name of the post for which applied, advertisement number and date on the back side of the Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order.
