Chhattisgarh PSC Recruitment 2014 For Various Posts under H&FW Department (Medical Education)

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CG PSC) the vital nodal agency of the state engaged in recruitment of Group B and Group A cadre positions in Chhattisgarh. As a government functionary, this PSC is dedicated for offering its services for competent selection of professionals in the higher cadre positions of the government. With its dedicated endeavor, this PSC is quite well known among the government selection agencies which are publishing notifications, conducting selection examinations after scrutiny of the candidatures and selecting candidates for induction of various cadre positions. This PSC is operating along with the guidelines from the UPSC under Government of India and provides one of the most potential opportunities for adequately qualified and experienced professionals.

With the recent announcement, the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has notified for recruitment of various positions under the Health and Family Welfare Department (Medical Education). Applications are invited from eligible applicants with adequate qualification and experience.

  • General Duty Medical Officer: 12 Posts (UR-05, SC-01, ST-04, OBC-02 out of which Women-02)
  • Associate Blood Transfusion Officer: 01 Post (UR)
  • Speech Pathologist/ Audiologist (Gr.-I): 02 Posts (UR-01, ST-01)
  • Resident Pathologist: 02 Posts (UR-01, ST-01)
  • Eye Specialist: 01 Post (UR)
  • Anesthetist: 01 Post (UR)
  • PTI/ Sports Officer: 04 Posts (UR-02, ST-01, OBC-01)
  • Clinical Psychologist: 01 Post (UR)

  • Registrar (Medical Physics): 05 Posts (UR-02, ST-02, OBC-01)
  • Assistant Manager (Technical): 02 Posts (UR-01, ST-01)
  • Junior Scientific Officer (Bio-Chemistry): 02 Posts (UR-01, ST-01)
  • Speech Pathologist/ Audiologist (Gr.-II): 02 Posts (UR-01, ST-01)
  • Speech Therapist: 02 Posts (UR-01, ST-01)
  • Dialysis Manager: 01 Post (UR)

NOTE: Reservation for these posts will only be applicable for the candidates with Chhattisgarh domicile only.

Pay Provisions and Scale of Pay:

  • For Posts in Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (Assistant Professor/ GDMO/ Asst. Blood Transfusion Officer): The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a Pay Scale of PB-III in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600 along with other perks and allowances.
  • For Posts in Sl.No.6 to Sl.No.16: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a Pay Scale of PB-III in the range of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.5400 along with other perks and allowances.
  • For Posts in Sl. No. 17, 18, 19 (Speech Pathologist/ Audiologist (Gr.-II)/ Speech Therapist/ Dialysis Manager): The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible for a Pay Scale of PB-II in the range of Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.4400 along with other perks and allowances.
  • Other perks, allowances and facilities will be applicable as per the state government norms.

Educational qualification Requirement:

  • Assistant Professor (Biotechnology): The interested applicants must have completed First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech.) or, A PhD Degree in Applied Biological Sciences or, should have a good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and at the Master’s Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree. He should have passed NET for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. Teaching experience is desirable.
  • Assistant Professor (Bio-Informatics): The interested applicants must have good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and at the Master’s Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree. He should have passed NET for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. Teaching experience is desirable. NET/SET/SLET is not required for PhD degree holders as well as for subjected for which NET/SET/SLET is not conducted.
  • Assistant Professor (Audiology & Speech Language Pathology): The interested applicants must have completed MSc in SP&HG and should have registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India. PhD degree is desirable. The applicants should have at least 2 years experience in Clinical Research. Teaching experience desirable.
  • General Duty Medical Officer: The interested applicants must have completed Post-Graduate Degree in Medical Science (MD/MS) and should have registered with the Indian Medical Council.
  • Associate Blood Transfusion Officer: The interested applicants must have completed MD in Pathology/ Hematology/ Immuno-Hematology & Blood Transfusion. Must have registered with the Indian Medical Council.
  • Speech Pathologist/ Audiologist (Gr.-I): The interested applicants must have completed MSc in SP & HG as per the norms of Rehabilitation Council of India and should have a valid registration from the council.
  • Resident Pathologist: The interested applicants must have completed Degree in Medical Science (MBBS) and should have a valid registration of Medical Council of India.
  • Eye Specialist: The interested applicants must have completed Post-Graduate qualification in the concerned specialty and should have a valid registration of Medical Council of India.
  • Anesthetist: The interested applicants must have completed Post-Graduate qualification in the concerned specialty and should have a valid registration of Medical Council of India.
  • PTI/ Sports Officer: The interested applicants must have completed Master of Physical Education and should posses Certificate of competency in participating in National/ Internal Sports events.
  • Clinical Psychologist: The interested applicants must have completed Post-Graduation in Psychology and MPhil in Medical & Social Psychology/ Medical Psychology. PhD qualification is desirable in the concerned subject.
  • Child Psychologist: The interested applicants must have completed Post-Graduation in Psychology and MPhil in Medical & Social Psychology/ Child Psychology/ Medical Psychology. PhD qualification is desirable in the concerned subject.
  • Scientific Officer (Toxicology): The interested applicants must have completed MSc in Chemistry of MSc in Forensic Science (Chemistry must be a subject at Degree level) and should have at least 2 years experience of working with Modern Chemical Analysis Equipments.
  • Registrar (Medical Physics): The interested applicants must have completed MSc in Physics and must have MSc Diploma in Medical Physics/ Radiological Physics.
  • Assistant Manager (Technical): The interested applicants must have completed MBBS as per the standards of MCI and should have a valid registration of Medical Council of India.
  • Junior Scientific Officer (Bio-Chemistry): The interested applicants must have completed MSc in Medical Bio-Technology/ Medical Bio-Chemistry.
  • Speech Pathologist/ Audiologist (Gr.-II): The interested applicants must have completed BSc in SP & HG/ BASLP as per the norms of Rehabilitation Council of India and should have a valid registration from the council. MSc in SP & HG is desirable.
  • Speech Therapist: The interested applicants must have completed BSc in SP & HG/ BASLP as per the norms of Rehabilitation Council of India.
  • Dialysis Manager: The interested applicants must have completed BSc (Biology) and should have possessed a Certificate of Dialysis Technician from a recognized organization.

Age requirement:

  • The applicants must not have crossed maximum age of 30 years and should be above 25 years of age as on 1st January 2014 for these posts.
  • For the natives of Chhattisgarh, the maximum age is relaxed till 40 years.
  • For Scheduled categories, there will be relaxation as applicable as per the state government regulations.
  • Under no circumstances, the candidates should cross the maximum age of 45 years.

Probation Period:

  • The applicants selected for the positions will be posted under a probation period of 2 years before granting of regular employment.

Application fees:

  • For the candidates belonging Unreserved and OBC categories (from Chhattisgarh & from other states): Rs. 400
  • For all others reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL from Chhattisgarh): Rs. 300
  • These fees can be paid online through Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking during filling online applications.
  • The fee concession will be applicable for reserved categories of Chhattisgarh State only.
  • The candidates can apply for Single or Multiple posts with onetime payment of fees only.

Selection Procedure:
