Public service commission of Chhattisgarh, Raipur has announced vacancies for post of Assistant director through advertisement number 03/12 dated 22-12-2012. The Chhattisgarh public service commission is inviting application from Indian citizens to fill 78 vacancies for the post of assistant director in the Agriculture Department of Chhattisgarh State.
Recruitment Details:
The Public service commission of Chhattisgarh required assistant director to fill up vacancies in Agriculture department. Candidates willing to apply for assistant director post need to confirm their eligibility criteria required for these posts before applying for job.
The selected candidates will be appointed on pay scale of pay scale of 15600-39100 + grade pay 5400/ along with other allowances.
There are 78 posts having 33 for unreserved, 9 for SC candidates, 25 for ST candidates and 11 for OBC. Out of 78 posts, female candidates will be given reservation as follows: 10 post will be unreserved, 3 posts for SC female candidates, 8 posts for ST candidates and 3 posts for females of category OBC. Other reservation will be made in selection according to government rules and norms like there are reservation for candidates having disability as defined in notification. Posts as mentioned in notification may be increased or decreased as per requirement of commission.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates applying for this post should have minimum age of 21 Years and Maximum 30 Years as on 1-1-2013. However, 5 years relaxation in upper age limit will be given to candidates of Chhattisgarh origin.
Educational Qualification: A candidate applying for post of Assistant director need to have a second grade degree in Agriculture from any recognized university.
Application Fee: Unreserved/ Non Local Candidates must pay Rs.400/- as Application Fee + Rs.35/- as Portal Charges, SC/ST of Chhattisgarh must pay Rs.300/- as Application Fee + Rs.35/- as Portal /charges through Online only.
Recruitment Procedure:
If candidates will satisfy age limit and educational qualification criteria, they will be called for interview to get selected for above post. Finally selected candidates will be kept on probation of 2 years from date of joining. If the applications received from candidates will exceed from required number of posts, a written examination along with interview will be taken to recruit them as assistant director in agriculture department of Chhattisgarh state. However, written examination will be held or not will be decided only after all applications received till last date. If written exam will be required, candidates will be informed about date and pattern of examination to be conducted by Chhattisgarh public service commission.
