Minimum Qualification Required: The candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the Concerned Disciplines from recognized University or Institutions.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01-July-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5100/-
Application Fee: Rs.500/-
SC/ ST, Destitute Widow, and Differently Abled Persons are exempted from payment of application fee.

Corporation of Chennai, invites applications from eligible candidates for DIRECT recruitment of Sanitary Inspector, and Assistant Engineer Positions in Corporation of Chennai, Health and Engineering Service Class III. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written and oral test held at the Chennai Centre only.
Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years. Every Person appointed to a post whose first language is other than Tamil should pass the Tamil Language Test conducted by the TNPSC within a period of two years.

Qualification:
Sanitary Inspector– Candidates must possess B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry or equivalent with Post Graduate Diploma in Sanitary Inspector course. Candidates should have Certification in Computer course.
Assistant Engineer- Candidates must possess BE/ B.Tech Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
Age limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01-July-2015. No upper age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes.

Sanitary Inspector– Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
Assistant Engineer- Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5100/-
