Chandigarh Police has announced the recruitment of 49 posts of P/ASI Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) of Group C in Chandigarh Police. Interested candidates can apply from 27-September-2022 to 20-October-2022. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Efficiency, Measurement Test and Written Test.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive)- 49 Vacancies
Educational Qualification- Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
Computer Skill- Candidates must have completed a course on Computer Concept of minimum 80 hours as on 01.07.2022 from a Government recognized Institution or a reputed Institution. [The Candidates who have Certificates/ Diploma/ Bachelor’s OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science from any recognized Institutions/ University are exempted]
Age limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years for general category candidates, 28 years for OBC category candidates, and 30 years for SC category candidates as on 01-July-2022.
Application Fee: Rs. 800/- for Un-Reserved and Rs. 500/- for Other Backward Class / EWS
The fee shall be paid only by Bank Challan generated through Recruitment Portal.
Selection Process- Candidates will be selected on the basis of Examination of two hours duration consisting of TWO Tiers: Tier I – OMR Sheet Based Test (50 Marks) and Tier II Written Test (50 Marks).
Only those Candidates who score the above mention qualifying marks in Tier-I Test shall be eligible for evaluation of their Tier-II/Test. Shortlisted candidates after Total Marks in Tier-I and Tier-II Test will be called for PE&MT.

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Police: The candidates interested for Assistant Sub Inspector posts must be Graduate. The candidate must have attained minimum 18 years of age and should not have exceeded 25 years. However there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules for Ex-Servicemen and other deserving categories as per rules. The candidates who will be selected for the Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Police positions will be offered remuneration as per the rules of Chandigarh Police.
Constable: The candidates interested for Constable posts must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Science and mathematics or its equivalent. The candidate must have attained minimum 18 years of age and should not have exceeded 23 years. Minimum Height: 5ft 7 inches (Male) and 5ft 2 inches (Female)
Chest (only for male): 33 inches with expansion of 1.5 inch
