Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests, and Forest Ranger. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and interview. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.
Assistant Conservator of Forests (सहायक वन संरक्षक) – 13 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-
Forest Ranger (वन क्षेत्रपाल)- 46 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4300/-

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry.
Candidates must be Graduate in any one of the discipline as Agriculture, Botany, Computer Technology/ Science, Environment Science, Forestry, Geo-science, Horticulture, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Zoology, and Life Science from recognized university.
Candidates must also have fulfilled minimum required physical norms.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years As on 01-January-2017. However relaxation in upper age limit applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) Candidates of Chhattisgharh State, as per rules.

Rs.300/- for SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) category candidates of Chhattisgarh State
Rs. 400/- all other candidates
