Chhattisgarh Revenue and Land Records Department Recruitment 2014 for Various Positions
As a department with very close interaction with the general public, the Department of Revenue and Land Records plays a vital role in Collection of land revenue, Maintenance and updating of land records, Acquisition of land, Survey and demarcation of land and management and control of natural land resources. Every individual has to approach Revenue offices frequently for various requirements. This department for the state of Chhattisgarh is situated in the state capital Raipur, as a planning, monitoring and administrative apex level body. Department of Land Records as a major department under the government maintains, develop land records for the entire state. Through a very well knit state-wide organisational structure, this department reaches out to deliver service to the citizen.
With the recent announcement from Chhattisgarh Revenue and Land Records department, applications from eligible candidates are being invited for various posts under various service grades under the Department.
The details of the vacancies and criteria for selection thereof are described as under:

Details of the vacancies:
- Assistant Programmer: 14 Positions (UR-06, SC-02, ST-04, OBC-02)
- Data Entry Operator: 210 Positions (UR-89, SC-25, ST-67, OBC-29)
- Computor (Statistical): 11 Positions (UR-05, SC-01, ST-04, OBC-01)
- Assistant Grade-III: 10 Positions (UR-04, SC-01, ST-03, OBC-02)
- Peon: 05 Positions (UR-02, ST-02, OBC-01)
Reservation Rule:
- The rules of reservation for SC, ST, OBC candidates are applicable as per the normal recruitment norms.
Pay Scale:
- Assistant Programmer: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of PB-II at the range of Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.4300 with other perks and allowances.
- Data Entry Operator: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of PB-I at the range of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.2400 with other perks and allowances.
- Computor (Statistical): The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of PB-I at the range of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.2200 with other perks and allowances.
- Assistant Grade-III: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of PB-I at the range of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.1900 with other perks and allowances.
- Peon: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.4750 – Rs.7440 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.1300 with other perks and allowances.
Criteria for Education & Experience:
- Assistant Programmer: The applicant must have passed BE/ BTech/ BSc.Engg. with at least 1st Division. OR, Must have completed MCA/ MCM/ MSc.IT/ BSc.Comp.Sc. with at least 1st Division. OR, Must have completed BCA/ BCM/ BSc.IT/ BSc.Comp.Sc./ BA.Comp.Sc./ with PG Diploma in Comp. Application and with Graduation Degree with at least 1st Division or equivalent.
- Data Entry Operator: The applicant must have passed 10+2 or 3 years Diploma in any subject. He/ She must have completed 1 year Diploma in Data Entry Operator/ Programming (with Certificate) and must have a typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour in Hindi & English.
- Computor (Statistical): The applicant must have passed Graduation in any one as a major subject from Economics/ Commerce/ Mathematics/ Agriculture.
- Assistant Grade-III: The applicant must have passed 10+2 or completed 1st year of Graduation. He/ She must have completed 1 year Diploma in Data Entry Operator/ Programming (with Certificate) and must have a typing speed of 5000 key depressions per hour in Hindi & English.
- Peon: The applicant must have passed 5th Standard.
Nativity:
- All applicants should be permanent natives of Chhattisgarh state in order to be eligible to apply.
Age Criteria:
- All applicants should have attained 18 years (21 years for the Posts of Assistant Programmer) of age and should not exceed 40 years (35 years + additional 05 years for permanent natives of Chhattisgarh) as on 31-Mar-2014.
- Relaxation in upper age for privileged category will be applicable as per norms.
- Under no circumstances the max age should exceed 45 years.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection for the posts of Assistant Programmer, DEO & Computor will be made on the basis of performance in the Practical Test and Personal Interview with a Merit list to be prepared by the department for such a selection.
- For other posts, the selection will be done through a merit List.
