Minimum Qualification Required:
Scientist-C: The candidate must possess Master’s degree in Science or Master’s degree in Agriculture Sciences from a recognized University with four years’ experience in Research and Development and/or Academic Institutions and/or Science & Technology Organizations in Agriculture.
Scientist-B: The candidate must possess Master’s degree in Science or Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences.
Scientist-B (Reeling and Spinning): The candidate must possess Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology from a recognized University.
Age Limit As on November 08,2016: Maximum age limit is 40 years for Scientist-C and 35 years for Scientist-B and Scientist-B (Reeling & Spinning). However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Scientist-C: Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.6600/-
Scientist-B: Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
