“Central Railway Recruitment against Open Advertisement Sports Quota for the year 2015-16”
Central Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell Mumbai, invited applications from talented and outstanding sports person against sports quota for recruitment of 52 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/2400/2000/1900/1800 in various sports disciplines as Hockey, Swimming/ Diving, Volleyball, Water polo, Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Power Lifting, Wrestling, Body Building, Boxing, Bridge, Golf, and Kabaddi.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Trial and Interview.

Number of Vacancies As per Pay scale:
Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs 2800/2400/-: 05 Vacancies
Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/1900/-: 16 Vacancies
Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-: 31 Vacancies
Educational Qualification:
Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2800/2400/-: Candidates must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/1900/-: Candidates must have passed HSC/ Intermediate OR Equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-: Candidates must have passed SSC/ Matriculation/ ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01-January-2016
Period of Reckoning Sports Achievements: The sports achievements of current & previous two financial years will be taken into account for eligibility. Therefore, the sports achievements of on or after April 01, 2013 will only be considered.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO)
from any Post Office, drawn in favour of SPO (RT), Central Railway, Mumbai and payable at Mumbai.
SC/ ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen, Women Candidates, Persons with Disabilities, Minority candidates, and candidates belonging to Economically Backward Classes are exempted from payment of application fees.
