Public Service Commission, West Bengal invites online mode of application from eligible candidates for West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Examination 2016 for various positions in West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service.

Expected Date of Preliminary Exam: During July, 2016 at Kolkata and Darjeeling
Total Number of Vacancies: 120 (Unreserved- 66, SC- 26, ST- 07, OBC(A)- 11, OBC(B) -08, PH- 02)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or must be member of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India or member of the Institute of Costs Accountants of India with Knowledge in computer operation.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01-January-2016. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-42,000/- (Pay Band- 4A) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-
Selection Procedure: The West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Recruitment Exam will be held in two successive stages;
Phase I: Preliminary Written Examination held at various centres in Kolkata and Darjeeling
Phase II: Main Written Examination held in Kolkata

Examination Fee:
Rs.210/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment).
SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal, and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. Candidates can pay the examination fee through Online Payment and Offline Payment mode.
