Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) is one of the vital nodal agencies of the state engaged in recruitment of Group ‘B’ and Group ‘A’ cadre positions in the state. As a government functionary, this PSC is dedicated for offering its services for competent selection of professionals in the higher cadre positions of the government. - Number of Posts: 20 Posts
- Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-Rs.39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 in PB-III
- Age: The candidate should not be below 21 years and not more than 30 years age as on 01-Jan-2013.
- Qualification: The applicant must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, including Divinity, from a Recognized University.
Inspector of Excise (Class-II Gazetted)

NOTE:
- 5 years Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
- 80% of the vacancies are reserved for Naga, Kuki, Garo, Mikir & Kachari tribes of Nagaland state
- Out of these there are reservations for other tribal groups of Nagaland as per state govt notification

- The fee can be submitted by a Bank Draft in favour of “The Secretary, NPSC” and payable at Kohima
Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be done by through the Preliminary Online Examination followed by a Main Exam and a group discussion/ personal interview as per the discretion of the NPSC
How to Apply:
- The candidates have to apply through the prescribed application form, which can be availed from The Deputy Commissioner’s Office of all the district headquarters.

- The applicants can also apply online through the website of the Commission at www.npsc.co.in
- Applications will not be made available at the Commissions office.
- The applicants need to consider their competency as per the data available with this advertisement, before applying.
- After the declaration of the result of Prelims examination, the candidates must send the photocopies of all certificates declaring age, education, relaxation criteria and indigenous certificates issued by competent authorities to get their entry into the Main Exam.
