With a recent notification to further strengthen its workforce Canara Bank is inviting applications for 74 positions of Managers in Specialist Officers cadres in Junior Management Grade Scale-I, and Middle Management Grade Scale-II. Candidate can apply for only one post.
Specialist Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale-I:
Technical Field Officer (Electrical): 14 vacancies
Technical Field Officer (Civil): 10 vacancies
Technical Field Officer (Mechanical): 06 vacancies
Network Administrator: 06 vacancies
Specialist Officers in Middle Management Grade Scale-II:
System Administrator: 17 vacancies
Database Administrator: 19 vacancies
Economist: 02 vacancies
Reservations: Out of the totally declared 74 Positions, the reservation will be done as: SC- 09, ST- 08, OBC- 19, and Remaining 38 Posts for Unreserved candidates. There will be 02 Posts reserved for PWD (OC) candidates.
Date of commencement of Online Registration: 22-December-2015
Last Date for Online Registration: 12-January-2016
Dates for Payment of Application fees: in between 22-December-2015 and 12-January-2016 (both days inclusive)
Tentative Date of Online Test: 23-Mar-2014
Pay Scale and Remunerations: The candidates selected for the posts under Junior Management Grade Scale-I, will receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.23700 -42020/- along with other perks and incentives. The candidates selected for the posts under Middle Management Grade Scale-II will receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.31705-45950/- along with other perks and incentives.
Probation Period & Service Bond: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two year for the posts under Junior Management Grade Scale-I, and one year for the post under Middle Management Grade Scale-II from the date of joining the Bank.
Age Requirement: Minimum 21 years, and Maximum 30 years for Specialist Officers cadres in Junior Management Grade Scale-I, and 35 years for Middle Management Grade Scale-II as on 01-November-2015. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per norms for SC, ST and PWD category candidates.
Academic Requirements & Experience: Candidates must have fulfilled the minimum educational qualification and experiences, in order to eligible to apply. For complete information on required educational qualification and experiences please go through official recruitment notification.
Knowledge of Computer Operation is a must for all these posts. Also, the candidates shall acquire working knowledge of Hindi, if not possessed already, before completion of probationary period.
For SC/ST/ PWD candidates: Rs. 100/-
For All others including OBC category candidates: Rs. 600/-

Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test, Group Discussion and/or Interview. The Test will be conducted online at the identified centers.
