With the recent initiative, the BIS has released a notification for induction of Section Officers, Upper Division Clerks, Technician, Laboratory Officer, Deputy Director Posts. The details of the eligibility criteria and the recruitment norms are as under:

Section Officer: 05 Positions
Upper Division Clerk: 79 positions
Laboratory Officer (B): 17 Positions
Senior Master Technician: 07 Positions
Deputy Director (Public Relation): 05 Positions
Deputy Director (Administration & Finance): 02 Positions

Important Dates:
Last date for sending completed application: 60 Days from the date of publication of this Ad in the Employment News
Date for recognizing age, education and qualification: The Closing date of receipt of Application

Mode of Appointment: The Jobs Are Transfer Jobs and Will be filled on Deputation basis from other government organizations

Period of Deputation: The applicants once selected will be engaged on deputation for One year extendable up to three years.

Educational Qualification & Experience:
Section Officer: The candidates must have any of the following qualifications: following qualifications: University Degree with Inter ICWA/CA/SAS/LL.B/Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management/Human Resources Management/ Business Administration of two years’ duration from a reputed institute. He must hold analogous post on regular basis in a government organization or must have completed Five (05) years regular service in Level-6.

Upper Division Clerk: The candidates must be a graduate from any University. He should have hold analogous post on regular basis in a government organization or must have completed Eight (08) years regular service in the grade of Lower Division Clerk.

Senior Master Technician: The candidates must possess ITI in relevant trade. He must hold analogous post on regular basis in a government organization or must have completed Six years regular service in Level-5.

Laboratory Officer (B): B.Sc. Chemistry, or B. Sc. Chemistry/3 years Diploma in Chemical, or 3 years’ diploma in mechanical. He must hold analogous post on regular basis in a government organization or must have completed Five (05) years regular service in Level-6.

Deputy Director (Public Relation): Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Journalism / Public Relations / Advertising / Marketing. He must hold analogous post on regular basis in a government organization or must have completed Five (05) years regular service in Level-10.

Deputy Director (Administration & Finance): [For Personnel Administration: A Degree of a recognized University; and a member of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) (specialization in Personnel Management) / Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Personnel Management (2 years). He must hold analogous post on regular basis in a government organization or must have completed Five (05) years regular service in Level-10.] [For Finance/Accounts: Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Graduate Subordinate Accounts Service (SAS) Accountant / Master of Business Administration (MBA) with finance specialization. He must hold analogous post on regular basis in a government organization or must have completed Five (05) years regular service in Level-10.]

Age Requirements: The applicants must be under the age limit of 56 Years as on the last date of submission of application.

Note- The Departmental candidates of BIS will not be eligible to apply for the post on deputation.

The concerned authorities are requested to forward the applications of the eligible candidates alongwith their (i) APAR dossiers (attested copies) for the last five years; (ii) Vigilance Clearance Certificate; and (iii) Integrity Certificate duly signed by the appropriate authority. The Declaration to be submitted by the candidate along with the certificate for the use of forwarding authorities.
