Qualification Criteria– Candidates must have passed M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Manviki (Physical)/ Forensic Science (Genetics)/ Botany/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Pharmacology/ Physics/ Forensic Science/ Mathematics as per specific branch and division requirement. Candidates should have minimum one year work experience in relevant field/ Forensic Science Laboratory.
Age Criteria– Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and haven’t crossed the age of 37 years as on 01-January-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates for Senior Scientific Assistant will get the scale of pay Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- Pay Level- 6
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list on scale of 100 marks. 60 marks for candidates performance in Matriculation, Intermediate, B.Sc., and M.Sc.; 20 marks for Interview, and 20 marks for experience.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 540/- for Male Candidates of General Class/ Backward Class/ Extremely Backward Class and all categories of candidates (Male/Female) from outside Bihar.
Rs. 135/- for Divyang, SC/ ST (for permanent residents of Bihar) and for all categories of women (only for permanent residents of Bihar)
