on behalf of its subsidiary companies namely North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. (NBPDCL), South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. (SBPDCL), Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd. (BSPTCL), and Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) has been functioning as one of the vital companies responsible for power holding and distribution throughout the state.
With the recent announcement from the BSPHCL, there is requirement of Assistant Electrical Engineer, and Assistant Engineer (Civil) Positions.

Last Date for Payment of Application Fee through Online Mode: 01-April-2018
Pay Scale: Rs. 36800-58600 for One year during probation period starting with consolidated monthly pay Rs. 36800/-
After completion of one year of probation period from the date of appointment on consolidated pay, Regular Pay in Level 8 (as per 7th PRC)
Probation Period: The candidates selected for the posts of Assistant Electrical Engineer, Assistant Engineer (Civil) Positions will be appointed on a probation period of three years from the date of appointment.
Age Criteria: Interested candidates applying for these posts must have reached the minimum age of 21 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 37 years as on 01-January-2018. However, relaxation in upper age for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD/ BC/ EBC/ Women will be applicable as per rules.
Academic Requirements:
Assistant Engineer: Candidates must possess four years full time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engineering) in relevant discipline from any Government recognized University/ Institution approved by AICTE with minimum 60% (55% in case of BC and EBC category candidates; and 50% in case of SC/ ST category candidates) of marks.

For SC/ ST candidates of Bihar State: Rs. 375/-
For All others including SC/ST from other states: Rs. 1500/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE Score.
