Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) is implementing the prestigious Assam Gas Cracker project, the first ever Petrochemical project in entire North East India. The project is expected to generate scope for substantial investments in setting up of downstream plastic processing industries, thereby will generate both direct as well as indirect employment.

GAIL (India) Limited is the main promoter having 70% of equity participation and the rest 30% is equally shared by Oil India Ltd (OIL), Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) and Government of Assam.

With the recent notification from BPCL, the company desires to recruit adequately self-motivated and energetic individuals in various positions under its newly established project.

Pay Scale, Grade Pay and Remunerations:

  • Grade E8: Rs.51300 – Rs.73000 in IDA Pattern.
  • Grade E7: Rs.43200 – Rs.66000 in IDA Pattern.
  • Grade E6: Rs.36600 – Rs.62000 in IDA Pattern.
  • Grade E5: Rs.32900 – Rs.58000 in IDA Pattern.
  • Grade E4: Rs.29100 – Rs.54500 in IDA Pattern.
  • Grade E3: Rs.24900 – Rs.50500 in IDA Pattern.
  • Grade E2: Rs.20600 – Rs.46500 in IDA Pattern.
  • Other facilities as per rules of BCPL

Minimum Academics:

  • General Manager: The candidates must have secured a Bachelors Degree in concerned branches of Engineering with at least 22 years of experience.
  • Dy. General Manager: The candidates must have secured a Bachelors Degree in concerned branches of Engineering with at least 18 years of experience.
  • Dy. General Manager (HR):  The candidates must have secured a Bachelors Degree with Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in HR/ Social work/ MBA/MSW (or equivalent) with at least 18 years of experience.
  • Chief Manager: The candidates must have secured a Bachelors Degree in concerned branches of Engineering with 55% marks and with at least 15 years of experience.
  • Chief Manager (Finance & Accounts): The candidates must be a CA/ ICWA or BCom with 55% marks with MBA Finance or equivalent with at least 15 years of experience.
  • Senior Manager: The candidates must have secured a Bachelors Degree in concerned branches of Engineering with 55% marks and with at least 12 years of experience.
  • Senior Manager (HR): The candidates must have secured a Bachelors Degree with 55% marks with Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in HR/ Social work/ MBA/MSW (or equivalent) and with at least 12 years of experience.
  • Manager: The candidates must have secured a Bachelors Degree in concerned branches of Engineering with 55% marks and with at least 08 years of experience.
  • Manager (Finance & Accounts): The candidates must be a CA/ ICWA or BCom with 55% marks with MBA Finance or equivalent with at least 08 years of experience.
  • Manager (Laboratory): The candidates must be Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks and with at least 12 years of experience.

Age Limit:

  • General Manager: The maximum age for all these positions is set at 54 years.
  • Dy. General Manager: The maximum age for all these positions is set at 52 years.
  • Chief Manager: The maximum age for all these positions is set at 48 years.
  • Senior Manager: The maximum age for all these positions is set at 45 years.
  • Manager: The maximum age for all these positions is set at 40 years.
  • Dy. Manager: The maximum age for all these positions is set at 35 years.
  • Senior Manager/ Officer: The maximum age for all these positions is set at 30 years.

Selection Procedure:

  • The selection may be done through only Interview or through written Test and Interview as per the discretion of the BCPL.
  • Depending upon the performance Merit List the candidates will be offered postings through designated positions.
