Bihar PSC Recruitment 2013 For Multiple Vacancies Under State Health Department

Applications are invited in proper format for various vacant positions under the health Department of the state of Bihar through the Public Service Commission of Bihar (BPSC). The Bihar PSC is the sole authority to recruit adequately qualified candidates for various state cadre of positions for the state of Bihar. With the recent requirement of the fulfillment of competent positions in the State Health Department, the notification has been released by the Secretary of BPSC.

The details of the vacancies are as follows:

Name of the Vacant Positions and Number of Vacancies:

1. Psychiatrists/ Psychiatry Specialist (Advt. No: 08/2012): 19 Positions (SC-03, OBC-06, Gen-10)
2. Skin Specialist (Advt. No: 09/2012): 75 Positions (SC-12, ST-01, OBC-24, Gen-38)
3. ENT Specialist (Advt. No: 10/2012): 131 Positions (SC-21, ST-01, OBC-43, Gen-66)
4. Eye Specialist (Advt. No: 11/2012): 68 Positions (SC-11, ST-01, OBC-22, Gen-34)
5. Microbiologist (Advt. No: 12/2012): 20 positions (SC-03, OBC-07, Gen-10)
6. Pathologist (Advt. No: 13/2012): 53 Positions (SC-08, ST-01, OBC-17, Gen-27)
7. Radiologist (Advt. No: 14/2012): 142 Positions (SC-23, ST-01, OBC-47, Gen-71)
8. General Physician/ Specialist (Advt. No: 15/2012): 135 Positions (SC-22, ST-01, OBC-44, Gen-68)

Note: There will be 3% reservation for PWD candidates in above posts

Important Dates:

• Last date for sending completed application form: 12^th November 2012 till 5 PM

Pay Scale and Remunerations:

The candidates selected for these posts will be entitled to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 And a Grade Pay of Rs.5400

Apart from that they will also be entitled to receive other perks and benefits as per rules

Academic Requirements:

• The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained a MBBS or equivalent qualification form a recognized university or institute. They must have been registered with MCI or equivalent bodies
• Apart from this they must have completed a minimum of 12 months of mandatory internship (even without a single day gap)

Age Requirement:

The applicant must not have attended 37 years of age by 1^st October 2012. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for privileged class of candidates.

Application Fees:

• For SC/ST candidates who are natives of Bihar: Rs.125 (Rs.75 as application fees + Rs.50 as bank charges)
• For all others: Rs.350 (Rs.300 as application fees + Rs.50 as bank charges)

How to Pay the Application Fees:

The fees can be paid in cash through the Challan (format available at the website of the BPSC at //bpsc.bih.nic.in) in any branch of State Bank of India within the last date of acceptance of application.

Mode of Selection:

The candidates for the above the positions will be selected on the basis of their performance through a Written Examination followed by an Interview.

How to Apply:

a)   The candidates need to apply through the prescribed application form that can be downloaded from the website of Bihar PSC at //bpsc.bih.nic.in

b)   It should be noted that the downloaded application form must have been reprinted exact copy of the application form as available on the website

c)   The application form must be printed on both sides of a good quality paper and must be limited to 4 pages only

d)   Any other form of application, hand-written or self-typed will not be accepted

e)   The application form can be filled in English or Hindi

f)    Photographs must be glued to the application form at appropriate spaces and must be signed crossed as if a part of signature must be on the photograph and other part on the application form

g)   The envelope containing application must be super-scribed with the advertisement number and the name of the post being applied for

h)   The application form must be attached with two numbers of self-addressed envelopes with Rs.25 stamp affixed on it along with other credential documents and certificate copies

i)     The applications must be sent to the following address so as to reach before the final date of receipt of application (i.e. 12^th November 2012 till 1700 Hours)
