Department of Factories and Boilers, Kerala, to hold Boiler Operation Engineer’s Examination 2016 for the grant of Boiler Operation Engineer’s Certificate.
Important Dates:
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: September 24, 2016
Last Date for Receiving Hard copy of Online application: September 24, 2016
Date for Written Examination: November 12, 2016, and November 13, 2016
Date for Oral and Practical Examination: December 19, 2016 to December 21, 2016
Minimum Qualification Required: The candidate should possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Power Plant /Production / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised Institution with minimum two years of experience in the operation and/or maintenance of a Boiler in case of Degree holders (Five years in case of Diploma holders).
However, for degree holders or post graduate diploma holders from a National Power Training Institute, requirement of minimum working experience shall be one year.
Age Limit: Minimum 23 years as on date of examination
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected on the basis of written test, oral test and practical examination.
Examination Fee: Rs.1500/-
The candidates are suggested to pay the examination fee through net banking under the Head of Accountant “0230-00-800-89”.
