Bihar Medical Services & Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (BMSICL) has been instrumental in expediting creation and streamlining of existing infrastructure and services in the healthcare sector of the state. The Corporation is the sole procurement and distribution agency of drugs and equipment for all establishments under the Department of Health, Govt. of Bihar. It also undertakes construction of healthcare facilities/ infrastructure in the State.

With the recent requirement of BMSICL, it intends to fill-up competent positions of Dy. General Manager, Manager, Asst. Manager and Executives through an open merit recruitment procedure.

The details of the vacancies are as follows:

16. Manager (Projects/Construction): 05 Posts [UR-02, SC-01, EBC-01, BC-01]

NOTE: All these posts are under approval of the State Government and final appointment shall be made only after these posts receive sanction of State Government.

Pay Scale and Remunerations:

  • General Manager: The candidates selected for the posts will be entitled to receive a consolidated remuneration in the range of Rs.80000 – Rs.100000 as per their years of experience and seniority, as well as other advantages.
  • Deputy General Manager: The candidates selected for the posts will be entitled to receive a consolidated remuneration in the range of Rs.55000 – Rs.80000 as per their years of experience and seniority, as well as other advantages.
  • Assistant General Manager: The candidates selected for the posts will be entitled to receive a consolidated remuneration in the range of Rs.45000 – Rs.70000 as per their years of experience and seniority, as well as other advantages.
  • Manager: The candidates selected for the posts will be entitled to receive a consolidated remuneration in the range of Rs.30000 – Rs.55000 as per their years of experience and seniority, as well as other advantages.
  • Apart from that they will also be entitled to receive other perks and benefits as per rules.

Academic Requirements & Experience:

  • General Manager (Projects/Construction): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained BE/Btech in Civil Engineering or should be a working/retired Superintending Engineer. Must have at least 7 years of Post-qualification experience. Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management/ Project Management will be preferred.
  • Dy. General Manager (Procurement/ Services): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBBS/ MBA/ Post Graduate degree in Eco/ Development/ Public Policy/ Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Biotechnology/ Process/ Biomedical/ Operations/ Industrial Engineering. Must have at least 4 years of Post-qualification experience.
  • Dy. General Manager (Projects/Construction): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained BE/Btech in Civil Engineering or should be a working/retired Executive Engineer. Must have at least 4 years of Post-qualification experience.
  • Dy. General Manager (Planning/Architecture): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Architecture/ Building Planning or should be a working/retired Executive Engineer. Must have at least 4 years of Post-qualification relevant experience.
  • Assistant General Manager (Admin/Strategy/Communication): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBA/ Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Communication/ Planning/ Public Policy/ Public Administration/ Economics. Must have at least 2 years of Post-qualification relevant experience.
  • Assistant General Manager (Finance/Accounts/Compliance): The candidates interested for these positions must be a CS/ CA/ MBA(Finance)/ CWA. Must have at least 2 years of Post-qualification relevant experience.
  • Assistant General Manager (Logistics/Warehouse): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBA/ Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Production Engg./ Operations/ Bio-medical Engg./ Clinical Engg./ Industrial/ Mechanical/ Process Engg./ Biochemical/ Pharma/ Inventory/ Supply Chain/ Logistics. Must have at least 2 years of Post-qualification relevant experience.
  • Assistant General Manager (Logistics/QC): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBA/Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Mathematics. Post Graduate or Graduate degree in Clinical Engg./ Industrial Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Process Engg./ Biochemical/ Pharma/ Quality Control/ Pharma Management. Must have at least 2 years of Post-qualification relevant experience.
  • Assistant General Manager (Procurement/Drugs): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBBS/Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Pharmacy/ Biotech/ Bio-Engineering/ Clinical Technology/ Chemical Engg./ Biochemical/ Pharma Management. Must have at least 2 years of Post-qualification relevant experience.
  • Assistant General Manager (Procurement/Equipment): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBBS/ Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Biomedical Engg./ Biological Engg/ Biomedical Technology/ Clinical Technology/ Mechanical/ Industrial/ Production/ Process Engg./ Biomedical Management/ Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering. Must have at least 2 years of Post-qualification relevant experience.
  • Assistant General Manager (Design): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Design/ Industrial Design/ Design Management/ Communication Design/ Strategic Design/ Environmental design. Must have at least 2 years of Post-qualification relevant experience.
  • Manager (Finance/Legal & Compliance): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBA(Fin)/ CA/ CS/ LLB/ CWA.
  • Manager (Logistics/System/Service): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBA/Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Operations/ Maintenance/ Services/ Biomedical Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Process Engineering/ Bio-Engineering/ Chemical Engg./ Industrial Engg./ Pharma/ Pharma Management/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Inventory/ Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Electrical and Electronics.
  • Manager (Procurement/Drugs): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBBS/ Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Pharmacy/ Biotech/ Bio- Engineering/ Clinical Technology/ Chemical Engg./ Biochemical/ Pharma Management.
  • Manager (Procurement/Equipment): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained MBBS/ Post Graduate or Graduate Degree in Biomedical Engg./ Biological Engg./ Biomedical Technology/ Clinical Technology/ Mechanical/ Industrial/ Production/ Process Engg/ Biomedical Management/ Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering.
  • Manager (Projects/Construction): The candidates interested for these positions must have obtained Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering or should be working as an Assistant Engineer/ Junior Engineer (who have completed required years of service to be promoted as Asst. Engineer) or equivalent.

NOTE: For Manager level posts, candidates who are awaiting their final year result in the respective stream may also apply. However if they are unable to submit their result by 30-Sep-2014 their candidature would automatically be cancelled.

Age Requirement:

  • The applicant must not have attended 40 years (for General/ Unreserved category) of age.
  • However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for other privileged class (SC/ST/BC/EBC/Women etc) of candidates.

Application Fees:

  • For SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs.100
  • For all others: Rs.300
  • The fees can be paid in form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Bihar Medical Services & Infrastructure Corporation Ltd.”  on any nationalized bank and payable at Patna.

Mode of Selection:

  • The candidates for the above the positions will be shortlisted through Written/ Online/ Typing Test for interview on the basis of their career credentials and experience
  • A Merit List will be prepared on the basis of Academics, Experience and marks obtained in the Interview.

  • The candidates can apply for more than one post and they are required to submit separate application form and processing fee for this.
