Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Directorate of Land Records and Survey (DLRS), Government of Bihar announced the notification for filling the 10101 vacant posts of Special Survey Amins, Special Survey Assistant Settlement Officers, Special Survey Kanungo, and Special Survey Clerks.

Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidates should have 2 years of experience in a related field.

As a department with very close interaction with the general public, the Department of Revenue and Land Reforms plays a vital role in Collection of land revenue, Maintenance and updating of land records, Acquisition of land, Survey and demarcation of land and management and control of natural land resources. Every individual has to approach Revenue offices frequently for various requirements.
The department is situated in the state capital of Bihar as a planning, monitoring and administrative apex level body. Directorate of land records and surveys, a major directorate under the department maintains, develop land records for the entire state. Through a very well knit state-wide organisational structure, comprising of 38 district and sub-district offices, 534 block level land reforms offices, it reaches out to deliver service to the citizen.
With the recent announcement from Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms department, applications from eligible candidates are being invited for 2506 posts of Special Survey Amin, Special Survey Kanungo, Special Survey Clerk, Special Survey Assistant Settlement Officer. Candidates will be selected on the merit basis.

Candidates must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
Kanungo (विशेष सर्वेक्षण कानूनगो)- 240 Vacancies [Salary Rs. 36,000]
Candidates must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidates should have 2 years of experience in a related field.
Assistant Settlement Officer (विशेष सर्वेक्षण सहायक बन्दोबस्त पदाधिकारी)- 96 Vacancies [Salary Rs. 59,000]
