BHEL Bhopal Recruitment 2013-14 for 229 Apprentice Posts for Graduate and Diploma Engineers in Various Disciplines
BHEL is an established name in India in the field of power generation and all the aspects related to power. Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd is engaged in the design, engineering, manufacture, construction, testing, commissioning and servicing of a wide range of products and services for the core sectors companies pertaining to Power, Transmission, Industry, Transportation (Railway), Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas and Defence. BHEL currently operates at more than 150 project sites across India and abroad. BHEL has been conferred Maharatna Status by the Government of India.
BHEL, with its present notification has invited applications from young, talented, and enthusiastic persons of Madhya Pradesh domicile only to join at Apprentice Trainee for its Bhopal unit for 2013.
The details of the eligibility criteria and the recruit norms as as under:
Important Dates:
- Date of commensement of online submission of applications: 18-Oct-2013
- Last date of online submission of applications: 09-Nov-2013
- Last date of receipt of Hardcopy of the Application: 16-Nov-2013
Details of the Vacancies: Total Vacancy: 229 Numbers
- Graduate Apprentice Trainee: 138 Posts (SC-23, ST-10, OBC-36, UR-69)
- Technician Apprentice Trainee: 91 Posts (SC-14, ST-18, OBC-13, UR-46)
Details of Eligibility:
- Age: Upper age limit as on 01-Nov-2013 is 25 years for all candidates and minimum age is 14 years. Age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories will be according to Govt. Rules only for the domiciles of Madhya Pradesh.
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentice: The applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./ B.Tech.) in Engineering in the relevant branch with minimum aggregate of 70% marks for GEN/OBC and 60% marks for SC/ST
- Technician Apprentice: The applicants must hold a Diploma in Engineering/ Office Management for Technician Apprentices in the relevant branch
- Note: Degree/Diploma acquired from Distance/ Correspondence education system is not eligible for the apprenticeship.
Pay Scale:
- For Graduate Apprentices – Rs.6000 Per Month.
- For Technician Apprentices – Rs.4000 Per Month.
Period of Training:
- The candidates selected as Apprentice Trainees with undergo a training for a period of 1 year from the date of joining.
- BHEL will not offer any employment to any of the candidates and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Selection Procedure:
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance which will be decided by BHEL in later phases.
