BEL Recruitment 2014 For Sr.Engineers, Dy.Managers, Architects on NE & Coastal States

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was established at Bangalore, India, by the Government of India under the Ministry of Defense in 1954 to meet the specialized electronic needs of the Indian defense services. With its recent announcement, the BEL Engineering Services Division/ Bangalore Complex is inviting competent candidature to be engaged in various profiles of Architects, Managers and Engineers for its major projects in North-Eastern and Coastal States on permanent and fixed tenure basis.

The details are mentioned as under:

Details of Vacancies: Total 27 Posts

Permanent Posts:

  1. Architect (ES): 01 Post (Discipline-Architecture)
  2. Deputy Manager (ES): 01 Post (Discipline-Structural Engineering/ Civil)
  3. Deputy Engineer (ES): 03 Posts (Discipline-Civil Engineering)

ON Fixed Tenure (Contractual) Posts:

  1. Senior Engineer (ES): 17 Posts (Discipline-Civil Engineering)
  2. Senior Engineer (ES): 02 Posts (Discipline-Mechanical Engineering)
  3. Senior Engineer (ES): 03 Posts (Discipline-Electrical/ Electrical& Electronics Engineering)

Reservation Rules:

  • The reservation for these posts will be applicable as per the Government of India guidelines and as per policies of BEL.

Pay Scale:

  • Architect & Deputy Engineer: The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.16400 – Rs.40500 per month with a 3% increment per annum as per IDA pattern in E-II grade.
  • Senior Engineer: The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.20600 – Rs.46500 per month with a 3% increment per annum as per IDA pattern in E-III grade.
  • Deputy Manager: The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.24900 – Rs.50500 per month with a 3% increment per annum as per IDA pattern in E-IV grade.
  • Other allowances will be admissible as per the rules of BEL

Fixed Tenure Posts:

  • The posts which will be recruited under Fixed Tenure mode, will be initially appointed for 3 years of fixed tenure.
  • This tenure may be extended as per standard regulations of BEL if the management thinks of reviewing the candidature.

Age Specific Norms:

  • Architect & Deputy Engineer: The applicants should not have exceeded 28 years as on 01-June-2014
  • Senior Engineer: The applicants should not have exceeded 32 years as on 01-June-2014
  • Deputy Manager: The applicants should not have exceeded 35 years as on 01-June-2014
  • However, relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable for eligible candidates (SC/ST/OBC) as per the central government norms.

Academic Requirements & Post-Qualification Experience:

  • Architect: The candidates should have completed Bachelors Degree in Architecture (BArch) and should have completed at least 1 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience.
  • Deputy Manager: The candidates should have completed Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BE-Civil) Or ME/ MTech in Structural Engineering. He should have completed at least 5 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience (for BE-Civil) or 6-7 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience in Structural Design field.
  • Deputy Engineer: The candidates should have completed Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BE-Civil) and should have completed at least 1 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience.
  • Senior Engineer (Civil): The candidates should have completed Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BE-Civil) and should have completed at least 4 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience.
  • Senior Engineer (Mechanical): The candidates should have completed Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE-Mechanical) and should have completed at least 4 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience.
  • Senior Engineer (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics): The candidates should have completed Bachelors Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering (BE in Electrical/ BE in Electrical & Electronics engineering) and should have completed at least 4 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience.

Application Fees:

Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only plus bank charges as applicable)

  • The fees can be paid through the Bank Challan as available at the website of BEL at any nearest Branch of State Bank of India in favor of Bharat Electronics Limited.
  • For SC/ST candidates: Fees exempted
  • The journal Number of the bank challan should be mentioned on the Application form.

Mode of Selection:

  • The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written Test and a Personal Interview as per the guidelines of BEL only for the posts of E-II and E-III cadre.
  • There will be only Personal Interview for E-IV cadre (Deputy Manager).
  • A merit list will be prepared on the basis of Written Test and from there to Interview.
  • The candidates will be called for Written Test and/or Interview as per their career credentials and post-qualification experience.
  • The final selection will be done on a merit ranking order as per the discretion of BEL.
