Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was established by the Government of India meet the specialized electronic needs of the Indian defence services. Over the years, it has grown into a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit company servicing the needs of customers in diverse fields in India and abroad.

BEL Optronic Devices Limited (BELOP), a subsidiary of Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navaratna Central Pubic Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. The company is involved in the manufacture of Image Intensifier Tubes and associated Power Supply Units for the use in Night Vision Devices and associated high voltage Power Supply Units for use in military, security and commercial systems. The company is located in Bhosari Industrial Area, Pune.

With its recent announcement, the BELOP is inviting outstanding professionals in the field of Finance, Human Resources, D&E & Production for filling up various positions of Assistant Managers, Engineers, Senior Operators and Operators.

The category-wise vacancies and requisite criteria for selection are as indicated below:

  • Post Code- HR-EX-001-14/15 – Asst Manager (HR): 01 Position
  • Post Code- Fin-EX-001-14/15 – Officer (Finance): 01 Position
  • Post Code- D&E-EX-001-14/15 – Engineer (D&E): 01 Position
  • Post Code- Prodn –NE-003-14/15 – Senior Operator: 03 Positions
  • Post Code- Prodn –NE-004-14/15 – Operator (Welder): 02 Positions
  • Post Code- Prodn –NE-005-14/15 – Operator (Electroplater): 02 Positions
  • Post Code- Prodn –NE-006-14/15 – Operator (Fitter): 01 Position
  • Post Code- Prodn –NE-007-14/15 – Operator (Electronics Mechanic): 06 Positions

NOTE: Reservation of posts for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be governed as per Government directives.

Pay Scale Provisions:

  • Asst Manager (HR): The selected applicants will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.9020-Rs.20200 with a CTC of approximately Rs.4.26 Lakhs per annum.
  • Officer (Finance): The selected applicants will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.7670-Rs.17170 with a CTC of approximately Rs.3.65 Lakhs per annum.
  • Engineer (D&E): The selected applicants will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.7670-Rs.17170 with a CTC of approximately Rs.3.79 Lakhs per annum. These applicants will be offered 2 additional increments at the time of joining.
  • Senior Operator: The selected applicants will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.5240-Rs.8800 with a CTC of approximately Rs.2.74 Lakhs per annum.
  • Operator: The selected applicants will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.4890-Rs.7890 with a CTC of approximately Rs.2.67 Lakhs per annum.
  • In addition, they will be entitled to draw DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement and others as admissible as per the company norms.

Academic Eligibility & Experience:

  • Asst Manager (HR): The applicants should have obtained First Class Graduate Degree with MSW/ MBA/ PG Diploma (2 years full time) with specialization in HRM/ Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. The applicant must possess at least 3 years of relevant working experience. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential for this post.
  • Officer (Finance): The applicants should have obtained Graduate Degree from a recognized Indian University with CA/ICWA (Final). The applicant should possess relevant working experience. Computer knowledge is essential for this post.
  • Engineer (D&E): The applicants should have obtained MS/ ME/ MTech/ MSc (Engg) in Material Science/ Metallurgy. The applicant should possess relevant working experience. Computer knowledge is essential for these posts.
  • Senior Operator: The applicants should have obtained BSc (Chemistry) from a recognized Indian University with Minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) of marks. The applicant should possess relevant working experience. Computer knowledge is essential for these posts.
  • Operator: The applicants should have obtained ITI + NCTVT with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in respective trades. The applicant should possess relevant working experience.

Age Requirement:

  • Asst Manager (HR): The candidate must not have attained the upper age limit of 30 years as on 30-Mar-2014.
  • Officer (Finance): The candidate must not have attained the upper age limit of 30 years as on 30-Mar-2014.
  • Engineer (D&E): The candidate must not have attained the upper age limit of 27 years as on 30-Mar-2014.
  • Senior Operator & Operator: The candidate must not have attained the upper age limit of 28 years as on 30-Mar-2014.
  • However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for scheduled categories as per norms.

Service Agreement bond:

  • Only for Asst Manager (HR), Officer (Finance) & Engineer (D&E): The selected applicants will be required to undergo Orientation / on-the-Job training for a period of 6 months. After training they will be required to execute a bond to serve minimum period of 3 years or to pay a sum of Rs.3,00,000 (Three Lakhs) to the Company.

Mode of Selection:

  • The selection will be through written test and interview of shortlisted applicants based on performance in the written test.
  • The selection will be done on a merit ranking basis.

Application fees:

  • Applicants belonging to GEN/OBC category [for the posts of Asst Manager (HR), Officer (Finance) & Engineer (D&E)]: Rs.500 only
  • Applicants belonging to GEN/OBC category [for all other posts]: Rs.300 only
  • For all others (SC/ST/PWD): Fees exempted
  • The fees can be deposited in shape of a crossed Demand Draft drawn in on any scheduled bank (preferably SBI) in favour of BEL Optronic Devices Limited, Pune and should be payable at Pune.
