IBPS has notified the 5th Common Written Examination (IBPS-CWE-Clerks-V). Candidates looking for Bank Clerk Jobs in Public Sector Banks must start preparining for upcoming IBPS Common Written Examination for Clerks. The IBPS CWE Clerks 5 will be conducted through a Written Mode of Online Examination (Preliminary Examination on December 05, 2015; December 06, 2015; December 12, 2015; December 13, 2015 and Main Examination on January 02, 2016, and January 03, 2016), followed by Personal Interview during February, 2016. Successful candidates will be alloted in various public sector banks [Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Bharatiya Mahila Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Canara Bank, Dena Bank, ECGC, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, IDBI Bank, Export Import Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, UCO Bank, United Bank of India, Vijaya Bank, and other interested Banks and Financial organizations.] Participating in IBPS CWE Clerical Cadre 5.
IBPS CWE Clerks 5 Exam PATTERN
Preliminary Examination– The written examination will be conducted through online mode at selected test centers of IBPS. The preliminary written examination for CWE will consist of English Language Proficiency (awarded 30 marks), Reasoning (awarded 35 marks), Numerical Ability (awarded 35 marks). The papers will be of 100 marks in total. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer while appearing the papers.
Main Examination– The Main written examination for CWE will consist of English Language Proficiency (awarded 40 marks), Reasoning (awarded 50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (awarded 50 marks) General Awareness (with specific reference to banking and finance industry) (awarded 40 marks) and Computer Proficiency (awarded 20 marks). The papers will be of 200 marks in total. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer while appearing the papers.
Viva-Voice/ Interview: Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for CWE Clerks-V will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.
Eligibility Conditions:
- The applicant must have completed at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent thereof. Apart from this the candidates must have operational knowledge and proficiency of Computer Operation. The candidates must also be familiar with the official language of the State/ UT from where they intend to apply for these posts.
- Candidates should have Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language; and so have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.
- Candidates should able to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/ UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply.
- The applicant must have attained minimum age of 20 years of age and should not have crossed maximum age of 28 years to be eligible to apply. The reckoning date will be 1st of August 2015. Candidates born not earlier than 02-Aug-1987 and not later than 01-Aug-1995 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply for these posts. There will be relaxation in upper age limit for privileged categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Minority/Ex-SM etc.) as per rules.

For All others: Rs.600/- only
The fees can be remitted via ONLINE mode with VISA/ MASTER Debit/ Credit Card during submission of Online Application. Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only.
