The board of Selection of Stenographer Grade- III, Constituted by the Government of Assam for conducting Stenographers Examination, invites applications for recruitment of Stenographer Grade- III (English), and Stenographer Grade- III (Language).
The board of Selection of Stenographer Grade- III, will hold a speed test at 80 words per minute in English, and Language (Assamese/ Bengali/ Hindi) Stenography.

Qualification: Candidates must have passed degree examination or an equivalent examination from a recognised university. Candidates should have basis knowledge of computers applications.
Candidates having National Trade Certificate in Stenography from ITI in Assam by the NCVT after 01-August-1975 and Diploma in Stenography from government recognised polytechnic may also apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as on 01-January-2015. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2900/- plus other allowances
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of dictation, and composition test.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates are suggested to send duly completed application form in prescribed format (two passport size photograph duly attested and affixed on application form) along with one self addressed envelope of 11cm*25cm size with Rs. 5/- stamp affixed, attested copies of certificates as suggested in official advertisement; to the concerned address.
