The Assam Public Service Commission will hold the Preliminary Exam 2023 of the Combined Competitive

Academics: The candidates interested for these posts should have completed Bachelors Degree in any discipline to be eligible to apply for these posts. The candidates should have obtained this qualification by the last date of submission of application. Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination on the closing date of submission of application need not apply. Candidate should be registered in a District Employment office of Assam.
Age Requirement: The applicants must be in the age group of 21 – 38 years as on 01-January-2022. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST and other privileged candidates.
Pay Scale Provisions: The candidates selected for these positions will receive a remuneration in the scale of minimum of Pay Band-3, a Pay scale of 22,000/ to 97,000/- and a Grade Pay 9,100/- AND a maximum of Pay Band-4, a Pay scale of 30,000/- to 7,10,000/- and a Grade Pay 13,300/-
Preliminary Examination Fees: Online Mode
For SC/ST/OBC/MOBC category: Rs. 197.20/- only
For BPL/ PWBD/ Women Candidate: Rs. 47.20/- only
For General/EWS: Rs. 297.20/-
Mode of Selection: Commission will conduct a Preliminary Examination of 400 marks [To be conducted at various locations as BARPETA, BONGAIGAON, DHEMAJI, DHUBRI, DIBRUGARH, DIPHU, GOALPARA, GOLAGHAT, GUWAHATI, HAFLONG, JORHAT, KARIMGANJ, KOKRAJHAR, MANGALDOI, MORIGAON, NAGAON, NALBARI, NORTH LAKHIMPUR, SILCHAR, SIVSAGAR, TEZPUR, TINSUKIA], followed by a Main examination of 2000 marks to be held at GUWAHATI only, and an Interview of 275 marks for selection of candidates for these posts.
