Assam Public Service Commission invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Block Development Officer under Panchayat and Rural Development Department under Assam Government.

Name of the Posts along with Vacancies:
Block Development Officer- 11 Posts
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as on 01-January-2015. Relaxations in upper age limit up-to five years in case SC/ STP/ STH candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed Graduation in any discipline.
Pay Scale: Rs.8, 000/- to Rs. 35,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.4700/-
Examination Fee:
- For SC and ST category candidates: Rs. 75/-
- For All others category candidates: Rs. 150/-
- Candidates can submit the examination fees in form of Treasury Challan by Head of Account ‘Non Tax Revenue-Other Non Tax Revenue-0051-Psc, 102-State Public Service Commission Application/ Examination Fee Receipt of A.P.S.C.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of written test, and oral interview.
