APPSC Recruitment Notification No. 11/2018- Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission invites application from eligible candidates for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors in Andhra Pradesh Transport Subordinate Service.

The Main Examination is likely to be held online through computer based test on 17-April-2019. The Commission conducts Screening Test in offline mode in case applicants exceed 25,000 in number and Main Examination in online mode for candidates selected in screening test.
Eligibility Criteria:
The educational qualification needed by the applicants is the Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering of a recognized University in India, OR, Diploma in Automobile Engineering or equivalent issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh or Technological Diploma Examination Board, Hyderabad.
Must hold a Motor Driving License and have experience in driving motor vehicles for a period of not less than 3 years and possess Heavy Transport vehicle endorsement.
In case women, if hold Light Motor Vehicle Driving License only, shall acquire the Heavy Transport Vehicle Endorsement within two years of their joining the service as Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector.
Age Limit: As on July 01, 2018
The age of the candidate must fall between 21 years to 34 years. The age relaxation is provided to ST/SC candidates for 5 years, PWD candidates for 10 years, N.C.C. for 3 years, Ex-service man for 3 year. There are other age relaxations too. Examination Fee: Rs 120/-
SC, ST, BC, PH, Ex-Service Men, Families having Household Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department (Andhra Pradesh), and Un-employed youth in the age group of 18 to 40 years; are exempted from payment of examination fee.
The candidates are suggested to pay application fee and examination fee online using Net Banking/ Credit card / Debit Card and through AP Online Centers.
