Eligibility Criteria:
Police Constable- Interested candidates must pass Intermediate/ 10+2 from a recognised board. Official Recruitment Notification- Police Constable
Sub-Inspector- Interested candidates must be Graduate from a recognised university. Official Recruitment Notification- Sub-Inspector

Age Limit:
Police Constable– Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 24 years as on 01-July-2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 01-July-1998 and not later 01-July-2004. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
A person who is a local to Andhra Pradesh State and also working in Andhra Pradesh Police Department as on the date of notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of two years and who is still continuing his service as Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 01-July-2022.
Sub-Inspector– Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 01-July-2022 that is, must have been born not earlier than 02-July-1995 and not later than 01-July-2001. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Selection Process:
The selection procedure includes successive stages like PMT (Physical Measurement Test), PET (Physical Efficiency Test), Preliminary Written Test and Final Written Examination.
Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test for 200 marks (200 Questions).
The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Written Test will be informed about the dates for downloading the Intimation letter for appearing in the PHYSICAL MEASUREMENTS TEST (PMT)/ PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET) with details of Venue, Date and Time.
The physical test will include the running, jumping and other relevant tests. The candidates who qualify the PET will be called for the written examination.
Candidates who qualify in the above Physical Efficiency Test shall be required to appear for the final written examination of 200 marks.

SC & ST Category Candidates: Rs. 300/- for Sub Inspector, Rs. 150/- for Police Constable
All Candidates and local candidates of Andhra Pradesh belonging to OC and BC’s: Rs. 600/- for Sub Inspector, Rs. 300/- for Police Constable
