Anna University, invites applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of various Non-Teaching Positions as Junior Assistant, and Office Assistant. Candidates should register their name with Employment Exchange at concerned District Employment Office. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview for Junior Assistant Positions, and interview/ Cycling for Office Assistant Position.

Pay Scale:
Junior Assistant: Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
Office Assistant: Pay Band-1 Rs. 4800-10000/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 1300/-
Qualification:
Junior Assistant- Candidates must possess Degree (10+2+3/10+3+2) pattern. Candidates should have passed in Typewriting English by lower grade, and have certificate in Word Processing on computers.
Office Assistant- Candidates must have passed 8th standard, able to ride a Bi-Cycle, and Possession of Valid LMV Driving Licence.
Upper Age Limit:
Junior Assistant: 30 years for general/ unreserved candidates, 32 years for MBC/ BC category candidates, and 35 for SC/ ST category candidates
Office Assistant: 35 years for general/ unreserved candidates, 40 years for MBC/ BC category candidates, and 45 for SC/ ST category candidates
Further relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Application Fee:
Rs.500/- for SC/ ST category candidates
Rs. 750/- for all other category candidates
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee in form of the Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Anna University, Chennai
