For Additional Public Prosecutors Grade II – Less than 35 years as on July 01, 2013
For Assistant Public Prosecutors – Less than 33 years as on July 01, 2013
Educational Qualification As on March 08, 2013:
Bachelor degree in any subject along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or of any Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification.
Note: The candidates who have passed five year course in law after Intermediate are also eligible to apply.
Experience As on March 08, 2013:
For Additional Public Prosecutors Grade II – Minimum 7 years practice as Advocate
For Assistant Public Prosecutors – Minimum 3 years active practice in Criminal Courts in the State.
Selection Process: Written Examination followed by Interview
Written Examination will be of two papers, each of 200 Marks. The minimum marks to be secured by candidates in order to qualify in the written examination are 35% for BCs; 40% for OCs; and 30% for SCs and STs in each paper.
Interview will carry a maximum of 25 marks.
Pay Scale:
For Additional Public Prosecutors Grade II – Rs. 23,650 – 49,360/-
For Assistant Public Prosecutors – Rs. 18,030 – 43,630/-
