Education Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. The candidates who possess higher qualification than the prescribed one will also be considered for selection on par with the candidates who possess the prescribed qualification.
Candidates must have fulfill minimum required physical and medical standards/ norms.
Age Limit as on 01-July-2018:
Police Department: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years
Prisons and Correctional Service Department, Fire and Emergency Service Department: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years
However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test (PMT)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and final written examination.
Application Fee:
Rs. 300/- for OCs/ BCs category candidates
Rs. 150/- for SCs/ STs candidates
