Allahabad Bank Invites applications for Chief Customer Service Officer (CCSO) on Contractual Recruitment
Allahabad Bank is well known as a leading public sector bank in India. With an intention to fill up a responsible position of Chief Customer Service Officer (CCSO) Allahabad Bank invites competent applications from retired General Managers of scheduled commercial banks (preferably other than Allahabad Bank) having acute exposure of banking operation and customer relation.
The posting of CCSO in Allahabad Bank will be purely on a contractual basis and the criteria of which is declared as under:
Name of the Position: Chief Customer Service Officer (CCSO)
Number of Posts: 01 (One) only
Nature of Recruitment: Contractual basic
Last date for Receipt of Application: 20th of August 2012
Age Eligibility Factor: Should not be more than 65 years as on 1st of July 2012
Other Essential Eligibility Factors:
- The applicant should have superannuated (retired normally) or have taken voluntary retirement at the level of General Manager from a Scheduled Commercial Bank (preferably from a bank other than Allahabad Bank)
- The applicant must have exposure to Operational side of Banking and should have obtained a minimum of 10 years of experience as Branch/ Regional/ Zonal Head of operation.
Location of Placement: The selected candidate will be posted as CCSO (Internal Ombudsman) at the office at Kolkata
Pay Provisions: The candidate selected for CCSO will be offered a fixed emolument of Rs.50000 (subject to deduction of taxes as applicable).
Tenure of Contract: The contract will be valid initially for a period of 1 year which will be subject to extension by Annual review for a maximum extent of 3 years. The extension will be allowed on yearly basis.
Selection Procedure: The applicant will be subjected to a Personal Interaction with the authorities of the bank at Kolkata. The result of selection will be on the basis of this interaction.
Application Fees: All candidates have to submit a non-refundable application fee of Rs.500 only towards the application.
The fee can be deposited in shape of a Demand Draft from any nationalized bank in favor of “Allahabad Bank – Engagement of CCSO”, payable at Kolkata.”

Last date for Receipt of Application:
The application in the prescribed format should reach the “The General Manager (HR), Allahabad Bank, Head Office, 2, N.S. Road, Kolkata- 700 001” on or before 20th of August 2012.
The application must be super-scribed neatly as “Application for the post of Chief Customer Service Officer” in an envelope.
No form of canvassing will be allowed during the selection
The decision of the bank will be final and binding on the applicants
