Airports Authority of India invites applications from interested and eligible OBC and ST category candidates having Domicile of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep Island for the posts of Junior Assistant (Fire Service) at various airports in Southern Region.

Educational Qualification Criteria: Candidates must have passed matriculation, and have three years regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Fire with minimum 50% marks; (OR) Intermediate (12th standard) Pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks.
Candidates must have Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License, or Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before, or Valid LMV License issued at least two years before.
Candidates having Computer Science as subject at 12th class level; NCC ‘B’ Certificate; Relevant experience in an aviation/ regular/ industrial fire service; Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment; Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur; would get preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years; and Maximum 35 years for ST category candidates and 33 years for OBC category candidates as on 30-June-2015.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be eligible to get the scale of pay Rs. 12500-28500/- plus admissible allowances
Selection Process: Selection process will be based on written test, physical measurement, driving test, endurance test, and interview.

- Candidates can make the payment in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Chennai.
- ST category candidates and Ex-Servicemen belong to OBC category are exempted from payment of fees.
